An early morning starts with a flight up to Newcastle to pick up Robs new Land Rover 110 Defender.

Rob has been looking for another Land Rover for quite some time now, and finally one came up for sale at the other end of the country. The quickest, easiest and cheapest way of collecting it was to fly from Bristol Airport to Newcastle with easyJet where the dealer met us and drove back to the dealership where we inspected the vehicle and completed the transaction.

Driving home was the long part of the day, but we did stop for lunch at a waggon and had a truly epic sandwich consisting of 4 rashers of bacon, beef burger, sausage burger, 2 eggs, 2 slices of black pudding and 3/4 inch slices of bread. Truly a coronary breakfast!
