I tried to leave work on time last night to beat the traffic - only to find that my BMW E30 will not start! Oh noes! my car has broken down!

She cranks over but does not start - eventual diagnosis fuel pump failure! At least I don't have to wait for the AA and the Land Rover is working for it's living. Once towed home, I had to pay £330 for a new BMW E30 in-tank fuel pump which I can fit myself, I just have to wait for it to be delivered from BMW Germany.

At least the problem isn't serious and I can fix myself.
