The very name conjures up an image of a land of imposing ice formations, shining glaciers and arctic temperatures. Sparkling fjords, dramatic volcanic peaks, sheer sea cliffs, sweeping golden beaches and crunchy lava flows make up this amazing land of fire and ice.
A nice short walk through the Shropshire hills from Carding Mill Valley along the stream to the four-metre cascade at the picturesque Lightspout Waterfall.
Our trip to the Dudley Zoological Gardens, which is a 40-acre zoo located within the grounds of Dudley Castle in the town of Dudley, in the Black Country.

The National Trust are currently undergoing a major conservation project to replace the leaking roof on the 17th-century mansion house at Dyrham Park.
On the 6th of September 2015, Moffat celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, and a commemorative service for Air Chief Marshal Lord Dowding, born in Moffat in 1882.
I was out in Glasgow for a meeting and had the rest of the day free so I brought my camera with me and went exploring Glasgow City Centre.
Photos from Leith, Edinburgh, as today is my last day working in Edinburgh. I now have a few days off and start a new job in Glasgow next week.
