Ghosts

Science has failed to explain such phenomena as ghosts, past life experiences, curses and psychic premonitions. In the world of the paranormal, anything is possible…

Tewkesbury Battlefield
24/08/2016Ghosts South West
On 14 April 1471, Queen Margaret of Anjou, wife of the Lancastrian King Henry VI, landed on the southwest coast of England with her son Edward, Prince of Wales, and 1,000 mercenaries. Her husband had been imprisoned in the Tower of London by the Yorkist monarch Edward IV, and it was Margaret's intention to wrest the crown of England back from Edward.
Hermitage Castle
17/01/2016Ghosts Occult
Hermitage Castle is one of the most creepiest locations I have visited. Its malevolent ambience a testament to the evil that took place here. The castle stands proud as the Guardhouse of the bloodiest valley in Britain.

Avro Lincoln RF398 in RAF Museum Cosford
31/12/2015Ghosts
The spectral landscape of Britain is littered with an abundance of haunted houses, castles and inns. But the RAF Museum Cosford, where hundreds of aircraft are on show, must surely possess one of the countries most unusual paranormal locations - a haunted Lincoln Bomber, RF398.
Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms
11/02/2014Ghosts
Beneath the streets of Westminster in London there lies a vast labyrinth of rooms and passages, whose origins go back to 1938, when war with Nazi Germany was becoming increasingly likely.

05/02/2014Ghosts
Built in Bristol and designed lay the pioneering Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel (1806-1859), SS Great Britain was launched in 1843. At that time, she was the largest ship in the world, a state-of-the-art luxury vessel, designed to carry 252 passengers across the Atlantic.
The Flying Dutchman
13/01/2014Ghosts
The Flying Dutchman, the phantom ship doomed to roam the seas endlessly, has struck terror into the hearts of sailors who have reported seeing it. Even King George V recorded seeing the apparition as a young man. This is the story of the accursed ship.
Cardington Hangars
19/12/2013Ghosts Occult
Built in 1917, these two massive structures dominate the surrounding countryside. Now a decrepit, rusting hulk, hangar 1 is certainly showing its age, but hangar 2 was recently restored for use as a theatrical set by Warner Bros. You can gauge its enormity by the fact that Gotham City was constructed inside it for the films Batman Begins and The Dark Knight! Paul McCartney and Rod Stewart have both used its vast interior for concert rehearsals.
Clibbon’s Post
18/12/2013Ghosts
As you drive along the narrow country road that runs between Bramfield and Bulls Green, about 300 yards from the Tewin Hill turn off, you come across a small solitary wooden post by the side of the road, surrounded by encroaching woodland. The post has the words "Clibbons Post" carved into it, along with the date Dec 28 1782.
Bosworth Battlefield
18/12/2013Ghosts
The Battle of Bosworth was fought on 22 August 1485 between the forces of Richard III, the last Plantagenet King of England, and the troops assembled under the banner of Henry Tudor, the Earl of Richmond. It was the decisive battle of the Wars of the Roses.
Haunting of the Theatre Royal
29/10/2013Ghosts
During a performance of Waiting for Godot at London's Theatre Royal, Sir Patrick Stewart came offstage during the interval and told his co-star, Sir Ian McKellen, "I just saw a ghost, on stage, during Act One."
