Cress Keyboard - A Hilarious April Fools Prank on Co-Worker

What happens when a work colleague goes on Holiday? A practical joke of course! Introducing the cress keyboard :)

Practical jokes in our office range from individually wrapping everything on their desk in the newspaper, turning everything upside down, unplugging everything or maybe they still haven't found what we did...

On this occasion, we planned a special trick for the return from a 2-week holiday of our latest recruit. It required a little preparation and in the end, the result was priceless.

Take one broken keyboard (one too many spilt coffees) donated by IT, remove all the keys, and clean it up a bit to remove the coffee and old biscuit crumbs.

Next, we lined the inside with tissue making little holes for the keys. After misting the tissue to make it slightly damp, we sprinkled the cress seeds evenly over the wet tissue and replace the keys. Adding a little more water and placing it in a warm sunny window we waited a few days - and voila!

I'm sure he saw the funny side after the initial shock!

What is Cress?

Cress (Lepidium sativum), sometimes referred to as garden cress or curly cress, is a fast-growing, edible herb. Garden cress is related to watercress and mustard, sharing their peppery, tangy flavour and aroma. It can reach a height of 60 cm (24 in), with many branches on the upper parts.
